In
this Activity we watched a clip form Finding
Nemo, and learned several watercolor techniques. We designed our sea
turtles using crayons the shell we incorporated symmetry into our pattern. We
crumpled the paper to help give it a underwater look. We used the techniques we
learned over the entire project.
Extension
Activity:
This could easily be
transitioned into a science lesson where we explored more about the ocean and
the creatures that live there. Also to incorporate language arts by having the students tell about their turtles
and the adventures they went one.
