Ribbit

For this lesson we learned about different types of frogs. For the art project we made clay frogs. They went step-by-step on how to form the different body parts of the frog. We learned how to slam the clay and score. We began by slamming our ball of clay to get the air bubbles out. Scoring is important when attaching one piece to another. After our frog was complete we painted our frogs.
Extinction Activity,
This lesson could easily extend into science. The students could form the life cycle of a frog. They could label each stage and write information about that stage on the cardboard under the clay.
